Thanks Gracie, lots of info to take in!! I like "up and down, sometimes happy all around" on a bracelet. I'd like pink, or a robins egg blue. Just my thoughts. I'll re-read your post, and do some thinking. Hugs, Dakota

LoL Dakota! (laughing with you, not at you--logistics are a pain!)
The colors & design will need to be chosen by the Art Committee that Muse selects.
For the record...pink & blue are considered "gender specific" colors: pink for girls, blue for boys.
From marketing studies, purple is a gender neutral color than is generally not offensive to either males or females. Yellow is a gender neutral color and eye-catching also. So a purple band with yellow writing or a yellow band with purple writing would be an excellent choice.
If you watch any of the "Curb Appeal" shows about homes, etc., they tell you to paint the house yellow for maximum "curb appeal" because it is a happy, gender neutral color.
Edit: Allie, I did not mean to discount your idea of ribbons at all, but did not see it as I was making this post.
We can't please everyone & the 250 minimum order, if I read it correctly, needs to be all one color with regard to the wrist band. Any colors added on the "imprint" of what ever the "statement" is whether "www.ourbipolar.com" to help with site marketing or "up & down, sometimes happy all around" will cost an additional 5 cents per color per bracelet. If you go to the web site I posted, you can read the limitations we have to work within.

The artist committee will need to make that decision after submissions from artists who have submitted potential designs. We don't necessarily need another color for the imprint; I am just saying it costs extra.
Love & Hugs, Gracie xx

Arghhhhh! I just wrote a long reply & lost it! grr
Purple Green Yellow are all easily accepted colours by many. (Notice I put in my plug for green?) Colour therapy tell us alot about what makes people comfortable.
Allie I love the black & white & think thats a natural for bipolar. In fact when you first mentioned it in the chat room the other day you inspired me to design my next painting.... wait and see!!!
I'll get an arts committee together right away!!
Keep the ideas coming!
